HIS 2620 - History of India3.0 Credits Focuses on the major political, economic, social, and cultural developments of the subcontinent of India from prehistoric times to the present. Students will explore the major events that have occurred in India throughout time through the lens of: the multitudinous cultures and races and how they have cooperated; the impacts of the environment on the history of the region; the contributions of Indian cultures to world history; the material culture of the region; and the religious-based nuances of the subcontinent’s cultural narrative.
