NUR 4260 - Leadership: Professional Role as Communicator, Collaborator & Change Agent3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Admission to the BSN program or department approval. Explore professional roles of the nurse and development of leadership and management skills. Organizational and systems leadership issues will be discussed in relation to providing quality care and improving patient safety. Development of inter-professional, intra-professional, collaboration, and socialization skills will be emphasized including communication with diverse cultures. The role of the nurse as a change agent will be examined.
