SUS 4400 - Watershed Science4.0 Credits Prerequisites: SUS 3000 or SUS 3010 , with a grade of C- or higher. May be taken concurrently if not previously completed. Explores watersheds as interconnected biotic and abiotic systems essential to ecosystem function. Integrates principles from hydrology, geology, climatology, soil science, and ecology to understand how physical watershed structure influences biological community processes. The course emphasizes human impacts to hydrogeomorphology and freshwater ecosystem health, from water quality to watershed resilience. Includes hands-on experience in field and laboratory techniques.
