BUS 1020 - Introduction to E-Commerce3.0 Credits
Prerequisites: Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 246-300; or equivalent ACT score 18 or SAT score 470; or passed any CCR course, ENG 0092 , or 1000-level ENG course with a grade of C- or higher. The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement.
Provides an introduction to electronic commerce - the business trend of the future. Covers definitions of e-commerce, technology and software requirements, security issues, electronic payment, and marketing strategies. Focuses on what to expect when creating a dot com as well as the business-to-business use of e-commerce.
