Prerequisites: Requires college-level reading; Students must take this course consecutively with ECE
101 if they have not successfully completed ECE
101 prior to enrollment.
Focuses on a classroom seminar and placement in a childcare setting. The supervised placement provides the student with the opportunity to observe children, to practice appropriate interactions, and to develop effective guidance and management techniques. Addresses ages birth through age 8. Students must take this course concurrently with ECE
101 if they have not successfully completed ECE
101 prior to enrollment.
