Colorado Mountain College utilizes a confidential reporting system to provide assistance or protect public safety at CMC. This system allows students, parents, faculty, and staff the ability to report student issues or other concerns. A report can be created at CMC Cares and CMC Listens.

Original: Tobacco Policy

Colorado Mountain College has a responsibility to its employees and students to provide a safe and healthful environment. CMC has initiated a tobacco and smoking use policy that specifies:

Each campus and center will identify designated smoking areas. Smoking will be limited to these designated areas only. All smoking areas shall be clearly marked with signs.  

The Summit Campus is tobacco free. This means the use of tobacco products is prohibited at the Summit Campus and Dillon Center.

July 6, 2015:  Removed GEO-105 and 106 from the science listings in programs.  These are now classified as Social Science rather than Science.

July 14, 2015:  Correction of typo in BA Interdisciplinary Studies - Education Stage Two requirements.  Change from successful completion of 30 credits with a cumulative 3.0 or better to 24 credits.

July 17, 2015: Correction of the pre-requisites for MOT-184. HIS-101 was listed in error and should be HIT-120.

July 28, 2015:  Correction to show that AA English Literature program requirements are for are for literature courses only.  HUM courses were removed from the list. Text previously stated that courses must be LIT, but several HUM courses were accidentally included.

August 10, 2015: Edwards was added as a program location for the AAS in Resort Management and the related Hospitality certificates.

August 18, 2015: Correction of the History requirement list for the AA in Theater to reflect GT-HI1 options. It was incorrectly showing GT-AH1 courses.

August 25, 2015: Removed the ‘L’ from LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) on the Year 1 Optional Certificate within the AAS: Nursing degree. CMC does not license, but prepares students for Practical Nursing licensure.

September 3, 2015:

Revised the language for Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Program Requirements/Electives to include the clarifying statement: “If taken as part of the AAS degree, they do not count toward the BAS. The BAS must include 60 additional credits”

Corrected the co-requisites for BIS 334 ; MAN 328  was removed as a co-requisite.
