The Digital Media program is offered at Colorado Mountain College at Spring Valley, near Glenwood Springs. Some courses may be available at Colorado Mountain College in Aspen. Some courses may be offered online. Some courses are only offered online. For details consult a Digital Media program advisor.

Students must demonstrate college-level proficiency in composition, reading, and mathematical skills before entering this program. Skills in these areas may affect the sequence of courses in which students can enroll and may also extend the time required to complete this program. See the Academic Placement Methods and Placement Test Options  section.

The Digital Media AAS degree combines required general education courses, a core of required courses, and two “tracks” or areas of emphasis: Digital Production, or Theatre & Event Production, giving students a choice to meet their career goals.

Multimedia Graphic Design (MGD) and Professional Photography (PHO) courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher to move on to the next course in the sequence and to satisfy graduation requirements.

The Isaacson School of Communication, Arts and Media at Colorado Mountain College has many scholarships available.

This program has equipment costs (camera, storage media, etc.). Contact the Program Director for more information.

Graduates of the program will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Digital Media. Graduates are eligible for direct admission into the Integrated Media (BAS)  degree. The BAS degree can be completed in 60 additional credits.

The Isaacson School of Communication, Arts and Media at Colorado Mountain College is devoted to preparing students to be competitive in the rapidly changing fields of Photography, Digital Media, and Graphic Design. These three fields span the creative process from ideation, visualization, content creation, delivery, and promotion. Our students are working together to tell media-rich stories across all three curricula.
