   EMS 145 - Basic EMT - Lecture

Co-requisites EMS 170  EMS 146 
Prerequisites: Requires college-level reading.
Introduces the fundamental knowledge of basic emergency care (EMS system) and transportation of the sick and injured. Upon successful completion of the EMT Certificate Program, students receive a certificate of course completion and are eliglbe to take the National Registry of EMT’s certification examination.
